I was looking through 2012 photos pondering the idea of posting some highlights. Then I got to some of the Costa Rica vacation photos I took this summer and remembered how much I miss summer. I also wish I was over this flu.

If you plan on going to Costa Rica do check out The Westin Playa Conchal resort. This is where we stayed and I’d recommend it. Great location, good service, good times! If you are more adventurous you can also look into one of the jungle lodges. I’d like to do that too but this time we opted for something more mainstream since we traveled with our 2 months old daughter.

Traveling with an infant doesn’t allow for a lot of options when it comes to exploring the area. We’d love to see more the next time:)

I am a little bit behind on blogging and I still have some awesome weddings and engagement sessions to share from last year. And some travel photos too – as I just got back from NYC where we spent Christmas and New Year’s eve with family and friends.

There aren’t a lot of destination weddings happening in Dubuque, Iowa but Jenny and Sam planned a beautiful one at the Grand River Center / Hotel Julien. Featured on Destination Brides.
