Yunie and Yang had a fantastic, intimate wedding at Lake Macbride. The day started of at Buzz Salon in Iowa City where Yunye and her bridesmaids started getting ready.
The weather can be tricky in may but they had a gorgeous day – just perfect for an outdoor wedding. A lot of their friends were there to celebrate with them and had Skype video for family that couldn’t make it.

I had a blast shooting this wedding – perfect location and awesome people.

The groom with the groomsmen had a lot of fun getting ready – a neck collar is a great accessory 🙂

Yunye and Yang wanted to do a first look and take some wedding photos in front of the Old Capitol. While Yang was waiting for his bride, there were some interesting photo opportunities.

One of the advantages of having a May wedding is getting all the trees in bloom. They make a great background!
